Time passes by
And yes there’s moments we do need to cry.
I said to someone who refused a hug
“Hug me… love has always won”
The arms hugged in a nervous embrace
The tears of sadness we needed to face.
Love has always won
Cynics start with a verse they can’t pull themselves out
Hence the struggles they focus on, with a need to shout.
Today is a good day because you asked how I am
Let’s face this journey together, from the essence we simply stand.
