Diabetes… a maths equation

Imagine being bad at maths

And with this condition it becomes more of a clash.

So you learn to calculate food

And insulin to later inject,

And there’s the 1 to 1 ratio that you need to perfect.

Then there’s the hypos 

And balance sugar to overcome the lows of the body and mind

And there are people less empathetic, well that’s what I find.

Diabetes the worlds biggest killer

But there we stand strong,

If others have this and become a slightly bit ridged, that’s where they can be wrong.
