Who would have thought it ?

A victory coming home,

They did it, the Lionesses set the tournament with this very tone.

You cannot stop

You must always believe,

A victory over Germany is always enjoyed

But winning the Euros is the icing on the cake

This victory had all that it takes.

Stay strong

These ladies were on top of their game,

120 minutes of drama, they were never at all lame.

Victory achieved 

Always believed,

Let’s make this be the beginning of a new start,

Looking after health

Such a dichotomy I find 

You look after yourself first 

Then beat yourself up next, especially when you are blind.

The human body is a vessel facing defeat

Yet through God’s balance to learn to retreat.

You go to the gym

Or have a job to make you fit,

Then you go to the pub and lose your inhibitions,

And wake up the next day with constant contradictions.

We have all done it

This is not a dig?

You sometimes enter into a deserted place 

And wonder how you got there through an embrace.

Be kind to your body 

But give it a healthy challenge too,

As long as you pray while you exhort that strain

There is blessings inside of you, where we look to sustain.

“You are one of them?”

Yes, if you are referring I believe in God?

Yes, that’s the answer in fact,

I feel blessed now and earthly things I am more often detached.

Those passive aggressive types are so far removed 

We as children of God are non evasive and soothed.

If people get it, then at least take that leap of faith

The powers that will be, answer to the Father instead of facing a wrathe.

I love you lord

More than you know,

Shackles removed as I have prayer to lead to a thank you each day 

Humbleness in spirit, the father has his gracious way.

You are his, that’s never been in doubt 

Pray to the Father.. now that’s worth a shout.

Ramp your volume high when you speak his name,

You are no longer fragile as you accept his beautiful name.

Bless these three Lord

They are humbled by your love,

Blessed by your mercy and grace as they venture to another spiritual place.

Keep on praying 

Especially when patients can be a drown,

But your desire to do good, shall refute the devil to cause you to frown .

Your love to him is powerful 

Elevation to move toward has opened this door, 

It’s evident there are times retribution, but the good news comes from the Father’s conclusion.

Remain hopeful with prayer

Thank you lord you are great

Thank you lord, for fighting this earthly state.

Thank you lord for holding my hand

And thank you lord for deflecting any contraband.

Thank you lord for being you

Thank you lord for protecting others, even though they struggle to understand

We are united, and fight as we stand.

Thank you lord for giving us belief 

And thank you lord for protecting us through your Angel s, where I breath a sigh of relief.

Hold my hand 

And pray, through his Faith in you,

We never deserved his beautiful grace… no need for any further clues, from which you may trace.

You are something else

Father, you are so great,

And with prayer you overcome our defeat.

Strength

You don’t know how good you are?

You are the light of God’s plethora eye

Don’t let it beat you

Fighting through a barrier, which I couldn’t contain,

There is a battle most of us face 

Some don’t understand it, as they have no empathy

yet there is a Father who shows tremendous sympathy.

These words humble your heart

You are never alone, as your story has only started,

You dig deep, more than you can do

God empowers a new person for us to all imbue.

Beaten, yet never defeated

My hands are holding yours, which are held so close 

There is a Father in heaven who wants you the most.

Learning the art

Patience is a skill

It’s humble and surreal;

Patience will always be tried

And anger shall take over it; by no mean surprise.

If we are not patient

How can we expect our children to care?

Pray to the father, there needs to be hope, don’t need to dangle on a frayed rope.

Praying for others when struggles arrive

It’s a spiritual war out there

Where money has become peoples friend,

Calm

A word often used when we are stressed

But others need stress to get the challenge off their chest.

Calm is priceless 

Calm is sedate 

Calm is a rescuer 

Especially when others can’t depress their mindless perpetrator. .

Calm is God’s love to say he is there

Calm is maturity, when blindness over takes

And calm defeats the devil, who doesn’t know his own state.

I thank you Ben for listening 

A gift not many possess,

I felt a bit low, as I felt you elevated my zest

I felt unsure

A little delicate and unknowing,

You are gifted with a big hug

How many times have we said “no”

Where I didn’t believe, stewed and stow.

How can I said that word

To the Father who constantly says “yes, my free will is here”

I know he is humble and he is the only one I can fear.

The amount of times I blamed him for my endless faults

Or others putting me down, but you then appeared to refute myself to harm

You provide me with endless gifts, and endearing charm.

How could I say “no” to you?

You are the light, the life and the way,

I know in my heart you are real

And by myself breaking, you mended my perennial view 

Acknowledging you captured my heart when others said “no”

Politics is a wind up gain

People I rather knock out, from there I refrain.

I personally care and then move forward

I rather not just talk for the sake 

I am not into gossip, 

For which is a patient killer to take.

If you care that much get that persons number and if you get through, ask

I rather not get into dialogue with an array of words 

I am a beast in the boxing ring, so stay back

Be known as kind

Be known as a person who loves the divine creator,

Refute the devil, he is stupid and blind.

You face a battle

The devil wants you to be rattled;

You are that good, so perceiver  

God in your hearts, you have nothing to fear.

We face struggles every day

Especially through politics and negative news surround

No matter what job I have,

We all need vices,

It’s the one we pick for God, is the correct one to depend,

Follow him, you shall receive a balance leading towards perfection

I exercise and train, like a warrior released

As weakness is now tamed, as strength is ceased.

Stay strong

Move forward,

If evil releases it cry,

It’s a sign of desperation

God shall deal with that horrid sigh.

One thing is guaranteed in life…except one thing?

God is the defender of the weak,

He will fill them up with courage and guile

Think about it?

We need to be bold each and every day,

Actually very stoic, a controlled beast 

magnificent actually, far from timid in the least.

We are analytical and so collective

And actually attained, and very decisive.

We are strong 

Never at all weak,

And even if faced with an enemy, you can clinically overcome,

Balanced in God first, and supreme as one.

The pain of love

Never easy step to take,

People shall say it’s natural, but there is a consequence that may break?

Loving to love

Comes with sorrow and pain,

But we put ourselves through the anguish and woe 

We never give up on this feeling, even when it’s slow.

Give him your all,

Love is defined next to him

Proving your love is a sign of strength within.

Show him your all

And yes, pain comes with that particular hurt,

One thing for absolute certain, he shall never ever dessert.

It’s never too late to pray

It’s a wonderful hope and array.

The light of God

The highest of high

The unforesaking Father who fills your joys in our cries.

You never lose hope

Believing in what you cannot see will challenge,

But if you live on this hope without this belief,

I’ll say this, the son of the king gave us relief.

The relief to believe 

Repent, it’s the only way.

Building your heart full of knots? Releasing our anger 

Therefore pray and stay in touch, 

he’s love for means so so much.

He would never say ‘no’

It just comes with immaculate timing,

None of us know how  it truly works, but the belief he has in us will refute the devil going berserk.

50% of heated discussions 

They are trying, heated and very tried

We yell. What for? For a debate to exhaust

Let’s face God first, he is your force.

The disputes

The angst it causes others,

Aren’t you meant io align to a common debate?

There is peace in God, whose is never ever late.

The prayers arrive 

The statements align,

Yet we dispute

Because of a lack of common sense which does not refine.

Speak as it is

And to get on with it is a make shift return,

Because there’s more to life than others gravelling and rather refute to discern.

Pointless gossip

I prefer a boxing match or game of tennis instead of drama,

Two opponents driving towards an ultimate goal,

Not this “he said or they said”, what’s the point?

Give me a battle, which God anoints.

Chat, chat and more chat

Unless it doesn’t go towards a goal,

Then the battle of victory is far more on show.

I suppose you need to talk to aim in a direction

Bitching about others is well away from the Father’s perfection.

If you pray for that soul, despite how you feel about them, 

The heaven on earth is where it should be

Spiritually challenged, I get that, but prayer is where it ought to be.

Looking on media and criticising

Toxic gossip, vexatious and non reprising,

Stay with prayers, even brothers and sisters get perplexed 

Away from that conversation as transparency is where it should be 

As long as you are helping, then the spirit inside shall be set free.

Do you remember?

I’ve written poems like this before

Going back to an era we have all had a taste,

Those were the days,  where there were pen friends over rid a brace.

There was The A team, CHIPS, magnum and Hawaii 5-O

And there was knight rider and airwolf, just naming a few

And there was the upbeat music, we constantly ensue.

The pin ups were Signorney Weaver, Tom Selleck and Rob Lowe

They starred in Alien, Three men and a baby and Saint Elmos fire, to also touch on the brain

And there beautiful looks made the men and women go ridiculously insane.

Those were the days we may never appreciate 

Perhaps we were children just finding our way,

Yet looking back in hindsight, they weren’t at all bad… actually they were phenomenally okay.

The endless fight (diabetes poem)

We are brilliant 

Amazingly resilient.

We calculate attempt to remain strong

We know underneath there is always something wrong.

Yet we fight with vigour

Where insulin does not trigger.

Our pancreas no longer produces 

Yet we find a way to capture artificial infuses..

Never forget you are amazing 

We never feel sorry for ourselves, and if we do once in a while, then why not?

This prolonged condition is harder than being shot.

Calculating each moment every day

Where others complain about a cold.. please go away…

We are fighters and a great example of persistent trying 

Pray to the Father to cure, I am now a warrior, no longer demure.

I met my love

My queen of queens through words God relayed to me,

I am humbled when I love her,

She is the glory from God which is no longer a blur.

I want her now more than the past

She is my delicate flower,

My woman,

My wife and mother to our children, to be,

God has presented her in so beautifully in front of  me.

She is my pearl

Deep in the ocean sea,

My loving wife

Which I’ll be honoured to where I want to be.

I recall the poem I wrote with the love of God,

I vouched loving each other should move forward with a loving God inside

For where there is him, there is my Divine, my gorgeous bride.

You are the sovereign

You are so great,

The prayers which head in your direction

Is simply a humbleness of your perfection.

You may us laugh

When we want to cry,

And when we get angry

You tell us to pray for the opposing soul

Who in essence, is angst and isn’t really your foe!

You provide ample love

When you think we don’t deserve,

You give us patience when the world is getting on top

Your awesomeness makes others haste want to stop.

Your love prevents others anger that attempt to rile

And the free gift of prayer can stay quite a while.

So when you stop and think of God, then these words are especially for you

Start with the Father and creator of all things 

Stay humble from what is good, the humility it shall bring.

Enjoy the work you do for the purpose of God’s aim,

Remember he is the all powerful and merciful hope

I love when you are near and not,

As the Father tells me off, don’t you see?

We abuse it

Compress it,

And there if you do fall, then there’s no shame when you cry.

Strength comes from the love of God

I know it’s all God

I know he took me away from where I didn’t believe,

Waking up

You could either wake up and go to the gyms?

Or perhaps go for a walk or run, 

get your good juices in, if you forgive the pun.

Never give up

We have been through too much turmoil in the past 

Start by going for a quick sprint, which doesn’t need to last.

No need to be impatient 

It’s all through Gods great timing,

Waking up to a vibe, good or bad

Sometimes we can be gregarious, or what is known as mad.

If it’s raining, sunny or full of cloud

Humbleness personified in Christ, for this is where I am loud.

We try as we must,

Remove that self righteous cloud when in our beds,

Over two years

Do you remember when 2 metres apart was the rule

and we listened to politicians who thought we were fools. 

The hypochondriacs came out

The relaxed ones stayed chilled

And there was the father in Heaven who wanted us to pray and become filled.

Politics was now a sport

And hardly any sports could be played,

And there was the doubling commissioning BBC 

overcharging for some of the nonsense on TV.

Now we are back to a normal vibe

Office workers want a mixture of home and office perks

And trains are over packing, from this experience we seem to be slacking.

Three stand up

Three faced the hurt,

never received a good start

Prayers to the three, they have survived and now in Christ they restart. 

Never ever beaten 

Always blessed with protected angels,

Their Yiayia is a constant blessing, 

And through the Father, the devil didn’t know who he was messing.

Exposure and instability from those who are meant to guard,

Now they are blessed through the kingdom of heaven

When you understand God…

A grin takes 4 muscles to move

You start a day with a smile,

That effect arrays wide

What on earth people are doing following this wretched tide.

Love will kick hate to the curb 

Remember that, there’s no place for that vibe

The world is often in turmoil because they don’t start with themselves to brave joy,

Praying and moving forward is often the ploy.

A mate once said “I don’t blame you for not meeting with me”

I said “I needed to do, what I needed” in order to follow the correct path

I wasn’t going to become privy of a devils wrath. 

Prayers in the morning, followed by laughter and joy

I love to love, not those negative stains…

Those who are vexatious thoughts, need more than just refrain.

Actually they need prayer to rid the devils spawn

And that a smile on anyones face

Is humbled with love and glorious place.

Diabetes angle

There’s a wake up call when you get this feeling

The hypos and hypers, which people mix up,

“Isn’t a hypo when you need an injection?”

Nah? It’s when you feel awful, and feel a long way from perfection.

You lean towards this feeling 

And you look perfectly okay from the outside,

Yet inside you say “oh shit, give me lots and lots of sugar”

and there are those who want your time when you need to stay stoic;

Living with this, is challenging, as recovery is a constant pain

And there who think they know your condition better than you

That’s hilarious, a passage I rather not ensue.

We try

We strive 

We remain focused, and we remain still,

We are reflective and astute

And mindful of others eccentricity 

As we just about manage our version of polarity.

We pray for this to one day go away 

We are great human beings with a very poor hand for which we have been dealt,

Some receive support,; some want others to know how a hypo is felt.

Passive aggressive

Don’t mess with God’s warriors

They gave this weapon called “prayer”, 

What’s going on in the world right now, make sure that attribute you are able to share.

The devil is a liar

The devil is cheat,

The silly thing the devil doesn’t know

That he is facing defeat.

Your kindness with be taken for weakness,

Be at your guard;

Don’t mess with God’s children

His love isn’t a facade.

The anger is there

Love has always been,

It shall overturn the devils attack

And play people against each other, and try to make them slack.

Keep trying

Keep moving forward 

Keep loving the enemy, these are terms he cannot win

That final

It was May 1985

Dad said “boys?? go to bed”

I said I wanted to watch the snooker,

But I was told to go, so I did what he said.

There were these two guys

One shortish Irishman, Dennis was his name

And there was this tall dominate ginger nugget called Steve

Who at the time played the best snooker you wouldn’t believe.

17 days of competition and the title was decided on the final ball,

A throw of the dice, it was anyones call? 

10 hours of play and it was totally unbearable to see,

The snooker gods looked on, and only he knew who the world champion was going to be..

A missed double, followed by a poor safety, then an attempt to pocket the black in right corner, now it was Steve’s chance cut the ball in for a third title in a row… he over cut it, to leave the shot on for Dennis to win.. yess.. he potted it for a famous triumph.. 

a victory still talked about to this day.. recalling as a child as the memories of this great occasion shan’t never fade away.

All it takes is a constant prayer

Say we all did this,

The world wouldn’t have this tyrannical nonsense to bear.

A forthcoming of spiritual words

A collection of love put in a basket to eat,

And then there is a hug for all of us to receive a treat. 

There is hope 

Tied in a bow,

and there is that smile you have, and it’s not just for show.

 

There is beauty put in a plate 

And the Father’s love for us, which rids any hate.

As long there is love

That comes with a simple prayer,

Keep moving forward, that is the way forward from these words which I share.

I asked God I need a wife

I prayed for him, and that was you

I am with the Father now

So please do not worry,

Caring for one another

Corporations argue

to keep themselves in a role,

Yet you fight for survival 

And learn to love through God’s soul.

Moving away from the real world

Especially when the enemy attacks,

People attacking because you believe in the highest of high

Yet their belief you don’t need.. as this is where I sigh.

There is goodness in people 

Even when trials hit their core,

They are fought by the devil

Yet the Father has so much, much more.

You look out of the window, or into the sky

Life will pose challenges

Do what you need to do… keep going 

Cry if you need to, it’s the human side you are showing.

Those who lack patience.. immediately get rid 

They have no place in your life. Why? They are draining 

This is your life, which you need to keep maintaining.

The world is full of harm

Turn that around, show the gift from God which is a smile and fight 

We shall all struggle in this existence, but the Father has the sight.

Pray, pray and pray some more

If others don’t get it.. God gives them freewill to choose,

You don’t stop praying for them, nor shall you lose.
