Jet set Matthew

​This man is the perennial king,
And he would probably repeat what is generally said, 
He likes to harmonise, especially during the day and before going to bed.

Matthew, I am there until I finally draw my finally breath,
You are a blessing for me, mum, others and our God,
He is a blessing, but he puts himself down, which is mildly odd.

He is funny
Smart, but ironically puts himself down, despite all these iconic gifts, 
He says ‘we’ instead of ‘I’
He is a man I truly admire, especially before I say hello to heaven and the point I shall die. 

Thank you for his life God
He is a silly sod at times,
He does roam down the negative past, pondering what could have been, 
But at his best, he is hilarious, lovely and if he stops saying ‘we’ then God will accept his beautiful grin.
“Matthew you are a blessing from God, you saved my… you are victor in Christ,
and he doesn’t makes the likes of you twice”

Life is a continuum

​Some people make situations larger than it is, 
When actually, it’s God who balances you/.. and the fieriest cause something to be missed.

it’s okay to be ‘you’, 
As long as you pray and help others ‘do’,
You can listen, 
You can smile
You can make fun of the the situation, if that’s okay for the other person
It’s about knowing their traits and avoid making that situation worsen.

Some people are fiery
Some people are calm,
Some people have a balance, but that is rare
Patience is the antidote, that’s the temperament I choose to declare. 

Some people can live alone
Some thrive in that position,
Some are forced to be in that situation, they need connection… that kind of helpful rendition.

The fact is, you are never alone as you can always pray to God
Sometimes he is far and sometimes he is near,
Just remember, he wants to help you… focus on him as there is nothing to fear.

Wisdom in your head

Mum… please rest,, as heavens room awaits, but not yet
You are still here and say a prayer to help you through, 
Our prayers are with you as love is the spirit which remains in the rooms.

Rest my dear Mother,
Do not worry about a single thing, 
We will be strong for you now and forevermore, 
You are still with us today, despite the pain we are feeling inside.. which is spiritually sore.

Please relax
Do not worry, as worry has been overtaken by rest
We are all on this earth for so long.. as we love you… the heavens shall provide you with openness and zest.

Love will live forever, 
Love will hold onto our connection on earth and when God welcomes you to heaven,
My heart is here and that part of me shall never leave
The angels will protect you, that part shall be welcomely received.

“Mum, don’t worry.. love is a forever spirit….”

The voices outside

​people put earphones on today, when they go for a walk or stroll,
Disconnecting themselves from other people to keep their mind fresh,
This can be hostility at its raw best. 

Not saying it’s wrong!
And not saying it is right,
We learn to keep away from sounds which rile, 
And that could take a short time or quite awhile. 

It’s about trying to be the best version of yourself,
And don’t be hard on your soul, 
As long as you have your higher present, there is always a safe place for you to go.

So if you disconnect, make sure it’s done with love and no theatrics attached,
As humility is all inside of us, and that’s worth holding onto and trying to match.

Just knowing..

​knowing, is when it’s simply time to grow
Knowing it’s time to simply hone into your higher power… and show.

Knowing it’s time to stop over thinking and simply “do’,
And remembering not to stay still and try something new.

This is between you and God, and don’t bring others in,
It’s about the trying and acknowledging the ‘small wins’.

Knowing is an epiphany in itself
Grow with God first, that’s your elevation to your mental health.

Knowing comes with time, 
minute by minute or second by second,
It’s about holding onto God at that exact time you shall reckon.

Human beings…

​Humans, we are a mixed bunch, 
Some tall
Some humble
Some full of ego which may lead towards ambition 
These are often circumstances, but there is always arrive to a rendition.

Humans, we are full of light
We are full of hope, 
Some can drag you down with their negative thoughts,
I rather steer clear of that… which makes those who are sensitive a tad fraught.

Humans, a collective bunch
Some dark skinned
Some white as the driven snow, 
It doesn’t really matter, hatred will never win.. but the Devil will look to divide us… but is too absent-minded… didn’t you know?

I can’t stay in my thoughts as I rather laugh instead, 
If you are one who isn’t comfortable in your body, then speak to God 1st… prayers don’t need to be said by the time you go to bed!

Don’t blame others

​Don’t blame others
Grow, show up try and try again.
I was told, “you keep making the same mistakes!!”
That’s right! I did that until I realised when I related to God’s terms through that moment I am about to break.

Don’t blame others, 
Time stops for no one today,
You are here facing the presence of God, through your heart you shall be able to rely.

Don’t blame others, 
Stop saying ‘we’, say ‘I’ can do this,
Yes, we know you are not confident right now,
Wake up, face the fear, 
this is done through small steps, your story is what you need to face head on
A place of understanding, when you have acheived victories but also moments which went horribly wrong.

Don’t blame others, 
Try to be the best person that you can be, 
A mate of mine once said to me “J. We can do this and that”
I say to my friend: “hold off, I am an ‘I’ not a ‘we’
Because God told me to stand up and be strong, as one day we shall all become free.
