This diabetes house we live in

This house
This diabetes house that I am unable to sustain,
But then again I have a new pump today and feels like clean air to breath again.

They call it Omnipod 5
A brilliant device linked to a glucose monitor,
This condition is most trying
And to be honest I won’t ever allow me to feel weak, as I look to be striving.

It’s a blessing and I am thankful to my medical team
It’s day one and it feels great,
I just need to accept the control isn’t a mobile phone, which can comprise mine or someone else’s fate.

You see, living with this is the hardest thing I have ever endured
I have suffered mental health, addictions and chronic fatigue,
But I feel blessed with this device as I aim to look to succeed.

Peace… is that too difficult?

Peace, is that too difficult to ask Where I am lurking in the shadow and not wearing a mask.  Peace, a chance which often looks away, Sorry...
