“what was it like back in 2026?”
“Well there were plenty of phones we called smart,
sometimes they took our minds as well as our hearts”
“Was it nice those days?”
“People were polite, but when we met they took their phones out to read, or send that message which was important indeed.”
I suppose those days were polite but often fickle,
People smiled at you but their intentions weren’t worth a dime or a perhaps a nickel.
We had computer games and just like today everything was virtually digital,
They called it the ‘progressive’ generation but no human contact. That’s what I call brittle.
Today is advanced
It’s a shame we don’t talk to each other more,
hiding behind a message rather than speaking to their face to the core.
Today is what it is
We can only do the best we can,
People’s communication skills are reduced that’s what 2026 and before took in hand.

"None of us can stay positive all of the time.... my theory and practical is this, if you pray everyday, be nice to that one person every day (or better still more people), then the world will have that little more love to show and perhaps you will feel better....Anger solves nothing, love creates harmony, encouragement, hope and love..." What about me? I have type 1 diabetes, love the arts and I am a god fearing man (I am sure you can tell)...... I am also on IG type '@jaypoeticsensitivity.
