Safe in the rooms

​What stays in the room stays in the room
This isn’t a place of gossip, this is the aim to get sober and share together
We are already facing trials, tribulations and ultimately feel weathered.

We are all people of the utmost high
We look to make ourselves better and look to refute the addiction, but that’s hard to say goodbye.

You see I’ll always be an addict, 
I openly confess and won’t feel offended if others frown, 
But in rooms you are blessed and lightened, even when you are down. 

Today is our day because today is all we have 
Grateful that we are here on this earth and trying to stop worrying about what hasn’t happened next 
Forthcoming concerns can make you become vexed.

So thank you for reading these words 
My story might be similar or could be compared
I wish you a beautiful day as my story I am able to declare.
