Lost… but now found

​I faced the hardest fight to ever endure 
Losing a love one and leaving the house which I once had my best friend in, 
I was losing, sinking fast as rejection felt like a chance to a win. 🤣

I lost my mate, my Father
But I know he is up there praying over me, 
I can’t see him today, but I feel him in my heart as one day well shall all be free.

One day I will be with him
All the good ones have gone first!
I struggle some days that he isn’t here today
As drink was my vice, as thereafter addiction was the fight I needed to obey.

I am fighting today, 
And I suggest yo do the same….
Don’t worry about my mindset, that’s for me to deal with because I am trying all the time
I am not here to give up, just propel what I am about to unwind. 

Today is a new day
A day to heal every step of the way, 
May the hope inside your heart continue to hold you close
I can now celebrate with a Diet Pepsi.. as it’s time for a toast.
