My walk with God

​It’s between me and God 
The place I feel safe and supported,
I am now procrastinating; looking for a meaningless argument to form 
The helplessness of life hasn’t always been my norm. 

If I had only so long to live?
that wouldn’t be a bad thing to accept, 
And you do know you won’t stay be able to stay on this earth forever
The demons on this earth have never been clever. 

All I know is that I am here today, with people I choose to love and love me back,
Even when I feel there is something inside of me which I honestly lack. 

I am going to bed soon
Looking to close my eyes and pray for tomorrow to arrive, 
Love today like your last, a blessing is among us all… which God has always provide.
