He saved

​He saved… us
For those who do or don’t trust,
Here today in God’s peace, 
You are here today to tame that devil… the fickle beast. 

He has risen on this very day 
The aim of this crucifixion is to take our pain eventually away.

He is our king 
He is our light,  
He died on this day so that one day we are able to appreciate his fight. 

Of all men and women great and small
And creatures that shine in the heavenly skies,
We have a saviour and a king who gave us this time,
Surrendering is openness, as a new day humbly defines.
