Time to step back

​It’s time to step back and protect your heart, 
Doesn’t mean you have failed, you just need to commence a new part. 

You can be adaptable 
Learn to do something new, 
There is always a chance you can see the light from the darkness you once pursued. 

Don’t ask questions, too many of them can overwhelm
You should be intelligent enough to respect the distance, and I don’t mean from the helm.

You do you and I shall do I, 
Don’t feel bad, nor do you need to cry,
The world is challenged enough, so to this history endured say goodbye.

Times shall cause a change 
That is all part of the course, 
There is a higher power inside of you, there’s no need for discourse.
