Don’t you think I want to give you a hug ?

​Let me tell you something
Do you think I want to refuse a hug?
Sometimes I feel awkward because of the pain, as I can often act like a thug.

Let me tell you something 
Don’t start me off, as I’ll kick off and punch, 
I am a strong person and ready to take a hit to the face
I am ready to go down that sordid place. 

I was angry
I was aiming to lose my mind, 
I keep on fighting despite the moments I choose to act blind. 

I am distant because it’s protection for my heart, 
It is a spiritual thing, as people can say the something wrong and then need to depart.

I am a good person
I like to think I am everyday, 
But we all have spiteful traits, as now I shall go away.
