You can harp back on the past, and yes it wasn’t fun.

But the solution is how you keep going forward, 
Reflect and be kind to you for a change,
People can be fickle, selfish and sometimes deranged. 

Focus on you,
Be the best version of yourself you can be,
You are a child in this big wide world that’s already intimidating,
Take a reflection ‘pill’ and look to be scintillating. 

Today is here
Do the best what you can, 
And if it’s a lazy day, so be it.. that’s how the dice may roll
You have free will after all, you can be fast or perhaps a little more slow.
