Resourcefulness

​No one knows what’s going to happen next?
We try or hardest and learn to seek for zest.

I was self righteous and lied to myself to say I had a problem back then,
Drink and drugs didn’t argue with me, as they were my best friend, 
What was the point having a normal life?
Then again, the impact is tremendous the paralysing causes strife. 

I have met some big personalities on the way 
And like most people; you will make a friend, and their are others you won’t understand,
The aim of recovery is to find and rebuilt the person waiting to come out
Everyone on this path needs to know what this road is all about. 

There is the 12 steps or S.M.A.R.T.  way to help you to overcome 
The controlling self has lost its way, 
Be open to your addictions, as recovery is here to stay.
