If this was my last day… ?

​If this was my last day, 
Don’t worry I shan’t do nothing drastic 
I feel God’s presence inside me, but I don’t get me wrong.. I don’t feel fantastic. 

I am clever with words and witty when I speak 
But ultimately my life is ticking by, like us all I need to eat like it’s a final feast. 

I speak God’s word because it’s important for what I see, 
We are all asking questions, as all I want is to be free.

Thank you for being you 
As I thank me for being I,
One day I will be here but one we shall inevitably die. 

Thank you for being my friend, lover or even wife
I have faced many ordeals
Some I have laughed through 
Some I have cried and unable to stop,
But one day I shall speak to God for the final day, 
as I know is that I gave this thing a final say.
