It didn’t seem long ago we last spoke,
then you went to the heavens,
where some think they will and others won’t see you again,
know I shall see you in the afterlife.. my friend.
You were a sod🤣
a funny git indeed,
yet you all made us all feel safe, as there was a sense of security at the point we felt freed.
You were my friend
despite fighting all of the time due alcohol induced chats,
we were both wrong to have those kind of confrontations, where often I felt like a twat.
My eyes cry and laugh at the same when I think of thee,
your cheeky grin that made me smile, and how you made us feel free.
I love you Dad
you are right inside my heart,
Every time when I think of you, I know we shall have a life eternal and a fresh new start.
