If I said I love you, would you leave?
looking for life’s hopes for the chance to simply believe.
If I said I love you, would you hold my hand?
knowing we love each other as God’s arrow made us stand.
if I said goodbye, would you follow me?
know I was crying inconsolably, through God we are free.
If I said goodnight would you wake up with me in the morning?
knowing God’s hand has given us a chance,
I know there is hope somehow and somewhere
These times together we can in faith and through Christ declare.
