You are facing muddy waters
wondered what the fuck took place,
the dreaded addiction came at us at an unexpected pace.
We try
we fall down,
isn’t that what we expected,
As the truth is always there
No point running away from it, it shall constantly stare.
We break and we then find resolve to find,
it’s not about grinding your teeth to achieve a goal,
there is spiritual determination, the higher power is always in control.
We are not here to remain still,
we need to get this sobriety road on the correct path,
it’s that first step to learn to be to yourself and refute be to harsh.
