Aren’t we looking for hope?
aren’t we looking to have a good life?
looking for edifice, and deflecting any fickle strife.
You see, life can throw it situations
One minute you are winning
one minute you are losing,
when really you want to stay in the presence of God, and want to be cruising.
So I said “hello God, thank you for today”
I seek gratification, and want that to stay.
You see, God has a plan
you presume you have figured this situation called life out,
praying and ask God, even through a desperate shout.
The higher power delivers
if you allow the spirit to work in you,
there is plenty of love out there, to the very core which is true.
