Why not you?

​Why not you?
To achieve your dreams and move towards your goals,
There is a time when these moment belongs to you, yourself and I,
Yes, you have been through the tears, now use that heavy breath to release a triumphant sign.

Stop saying “wouldn’t it be nice”
That means the goal is unachievable, 
Life is yours to overcome the unsurmountable. 

If I listened to my elders I may, and may not have achieved my high, 
I don’t see them as a voice of wisdom anymore, I need to ration and now give it a try. 

Not saying some people don’t speak with wisdom
But that wisdom needs to be passed onto you, 
Looking for answers you can’t quite see, 
Perception to overcome and through God you will be able to liberation and free.
