Overcoming

​This is your year, 
Put the work in and you will reap what you sow,
There is a higher power out there with everything to show. 

This is your year, 
Make wrong into right, 
People do love you, but remember the fight comes from within, which deems a light. 

This year belongs to you, 
Keep trying and don’t give in, 
Through grief, loss and moving away, 
I know there shall be times you wanted to give in as this didn’t feel okay.

But the addict in you works, 
It works through the stresses you put yourself through,
I suggest pray to God first and for once, just once, to yourself be polite.
