I pray to forgive

I pray one day I’ll be able to forgive 

I pray one day I’ll move on

And start to live.

I pray one day the hurt shall be removed

I pray one day the heart shall be soothed.

I pray I can move on and express unconditional love

I pray that my feelings stay still 

And that goodness from my soul is real.

I pray the heart holds true 

And that life on earth is strong 

And a sense of forgiveness is where we all belong.
