Peace within you

​You can travel the highest mountain
You can have plenty of money in the bank,
Ultimate it’s the higher power through blessings received, is where I prefer to thank.

Life hasn’t gone how I thought it should, 
But then again I didn’t know what I wanted to do, 
I wanted to receive kindness and be left alone 
But that’s not enough when gifts are often grown. 

You keep trying 
You keep finding out your best self, 
Aspirations can be short lived 
But go out there and show yourself and others who are around,
It’s peace within you that you need to have found. 

Some find it, some do not
Remember, when you say a calming or a loud prayer 
There is always something positive we are able to share.
