If I said…

​If I said I am scared, would you give me a hug?
And if I was tired would you hold tight? Or would you leave me alone to see to another fight?

If I said I needed a wash
Would you run a bath and tell me it would be okay? 
Would you put your hand on my shoulder and say “God’s got you, so be prepared for the fight another day!”

If you said f@ck off
Would you let me cry and wipe away the tears? 
Knowing God is always out there and waiting for the prayers?

If I said love conquers all, but the devil needs to destroy when are are weak? 
Would you love me unconditionally? 
Or is that God’s work to aim to find my peak?

So when you look to God, are you shy?
Remember I love you, but one day I shall die.

The tears are only temporary, 
They do eventually need to leave,
I know God has always got us, that’s what I know in my heart to this day, and which I spiritually believe.
