Festive times
Some celebrate
Some go for a rest
The time is humbling as this is a moment to make us all feel blessed.
Christmas is a time to reflect,
People may celebrate with a glass of wine or beer,
For myself it’s a cup of hot Coco, that’s my tipple to continue and cheer.
Thank you for doing what you do,
The systems in place and care delivered,
Prayers are said when struggles are released
No more chaos, just the good happy noise we await to embrace
The time to relax as now alternatives are in place.
So greetings to rejoice
Celebrate as we aim to keep going on,
This new life of recovery I now know is real, on this new journey we deserve to be on.

"None of us can stay positive all of the time.... my theory and practical is this, if you pray everyday, be nice to that one person every day (or better still more people), then the world will have that little more love to show and perhaps you will feel better....Anger solves nothing, love creates harmony, encouragement, hope and love..." What about me? I have type 1 diabetes, love the arts and I am a god fearing man (I am sure you can tell)...... I am also on IG type '@jaypoeticsensitivity.
