Everyday can be a blessing

​Everyday is a challenge 
We seek answers and look for a purpose,
Pick your battles carefully, as none of us are worthless.

Pick your battles carefully 
Be kind to yourself, if you can,
What I have learnt not everyone is for everyone 
Balance the day and learn to be your authentic someone.

We learn to move forward
And some days you wish to rest,
When you are restored, you look towards a challenge that has plenty of zest.

Sometimes we need to relax
And not to get so caught up with life, 
We are our own greatest weapon to discover 
And our bestest sister or brother.
