Honesty

​Honesty in a world that can make you want to lie
Live for today, lying can also make you deny.

You are who you are,
You ain’t aiming to be awkward;
You just won’t be controlled,
That honesty will manifest, it’s the Father in heaven who in I shall be told.

Be kind with your answer
You may have a surprise reaction,
Honesty is the policy, that shan’t cause any further distraction.

What’s the worse that could happen?
You lose your life, get thrown out, or ego bruised,
A word of honour is owed to yourself, and towards you? That shan’t be refused.

Honesty is the light
You can’t please all people on this earth,
You may feel you have let others down 
God holds you close, and in you he created a solider and not a clown.
