You need to be on the ball,
Yes….that is life in the current and past times,
Yet diabetes is a killer with a stoic aim
You cannot be at all lame.
“I can’t take needles, or do that to me?”
You have no choice
This condition is about discipline and aim
You need to be in that humble frame.
Be kind to you
Be kind to me,
This disease is the worst,
Yet you live with an improved life
Where fitness and health come to the fore
Yes there are hypos and hypers which are such a bore.
Be kind to your heart
Be kind to your diabetes , which isn’t to you.
Love God first even if diabetes is put on your lap
The beatings you may face if this condition takes a grip
The love of God through this condition shall never slip.
“Diabetes is not a friend but you still need to look after it xxx”
