That is what diabetes does,
The condition is so challenging
Yet you are the master of the faded pancreas, which has been constantly damaging.
It’s a condition like no other
Watching, analysing and working it through,
It’s not like taking a tablet to end a form of pain
It’s the avoidance of damaging nerve endings, that’s the stain.
I pray one day this hell leaves this life that I own
Yet still I have to embrace it and avoid the drone.
Praying for everyone facing a day we all need to contend,
Then there are others which look for us to depend.
Working through this condition is no mean feat,
Remember you own this condition, there is no defeat.
Trying as you might
Working through the highs and lows
Never give up, there shall be a cure to block out the blows.
