Each morning

Capture that day

Despite what others throw,

People can be keen to say a negative word,

Pray to the almighty, and remove the negative Hurd. 

There is love out there 

Believe it in yourself,

Fighting through the struggle we can all face

Never giving up, raising a smile each day

There is hope in the Father, how many times do I have to say? 

Kindness doesn’t need to be shown in abundance 

But it does need to be shown,

In a world where we are looking for that glimmer of hope and joy 

There is peace in spirituality, a easy concept to deploy.

if you speak negative, you receive negative 

You are God’s perfect creation,

The joy each times he sees 

Hope is eternally there 

Just pray for that moment, there’s a Father who genuinely cares.  

One day at a time

You rush everything in a day

Chill… refocus, you won’t always have it your own way

This is your life, step up and simply say.

Diabetes is a challenge 

And empathy is often rare,

People thinking you are not looking after yourself 

When a hypo arrives anywhere.

Imagine dropping off a cliff? 

And trying to hang on;

And there are those who say “you shouldn’t  eat that?”

Please?? The body needs sugar and that’s where insulin takes an effect 

And then you live your life, with the balance you need to set.

I have friends and family that often over see, 

Yet I am the owner of this condition,

So if you are going to stress , you can simply flee. 😉

Our story (diabetes poem)

It doesn’t matter what diabetes you possess 

You are always facing an arduous test. 

Regardless if taking injections, tablets or a insulin pump

You want to overcome the aftermath of an almighty thump.

Learning this condition, you need to be your own expert 

A person who stands up and won’t give in

Yes, there are challenges, obstacles to overcome, 

The balances to maintain a good blood level

Trying to be optimistic and constantly revel.

Then there is that person who thinks they know better than your condition, 

those who are doctor without living with this day to day

I am my own doctor, patient and a friend 

A humble spirit I can truly depend.

Yes. I would appreciate your support, especially when I fall down 

Yet I am the boss of this challenge, 

exponentially when a hypo hits

Staying strong, that’s where God keeps me fit. 🙏🏽

  

London’s Pace

Some revel in it

For the desire to quickly get stuff done..

Sure there is an necessity.., to a point 

Yet being methodical never causes you to disjoint.

Patience can be a struggler 

Especially when you are quick, quick, quick

You learn to evolve when older

Taking your time means you are that little bolder.

There is a time for speed 

And a time to be pacy,

Yet we are in a world that’s lost focus .. because it’s so so unfocused when racy,

Time is of the essence

And patience needs to be taught,

As long as you have prayer, you shall no longer be fraught.

A time for…

There needs to be peace 

Avoiding the unnecessary chaos that seems to arrive, 

Political confrontation doesn’t always survive.

To gain what? A little win which only lasts for so long,

Toxic individuals need to focus on Faith

The most humbleness and calm place to receive 

It’s Faith in the Father from where I believe

I sit here writing these words in the chaos of London Town

A place I call home, yet I struggle with that of late,

Too many arguments and a want for a debate.

Debate can be healthy 

Yet these are times when most want to confront ,

The ultimate decision maker is the Father, from him I shall always take the brunt.

I am great

I am inspirational in God’s brilliant wake.

I am beautiful 

I am blessed to fulfill God’s almighty dream,

There is empowerment from the words these that  I stream.

And I love my God,

Man cannot approve me

Confidence

A term we aspire towards

Others elevate

Others shall knock

The latter phrase I rather block.

Think about it

People feel for you when confidence is not there,

Then it’s restored in you, then people try to attack

Obviously trying their luck, when at the start they had your back.

Confidence is what we need 

And seeing it over-used looks threatening,

Perception of the view on others, follow faith, my sisters and brothers.

So pray for confidence to do the good work to encourage,

Learning to move forward could witness a wrath,

So shine the light, and let others see the faith in me

Bless you all, my confidence is to serve God’s work eternally.

 

Prayer to remove rain

Look at the weather, I agree dismal outside

I look towards a prayer

God’s openness is all to share,

I love to pray for people 

Especially when struggling for Faith,

Getting hold of the expression; and removing the Devil’s wrath.

Some say they get God

I pray to the almighty they do,

He will lift your mood when you focus on him

And any objectivity you need to do.

God is perfect  

And weather comes and goes,

Yet through his love, seasons of weather are needed 

Humbleness in Faith is where hope is feeder.

Getting older but never beaten

You get to a stage

And then ask older type questions,

We are all going to arrive there, but it’s God’s timing which has reflection.

You click a arm, or a rib,

Worrying signs but spiritually you stay high,

Bless each other and try not to cry.

Getting older is part of everyone’s cause 

Most reach that stage, and try not to even pause.

Pray for the kingdom, that’s a place to thrive 

And with a prayer, you know you shall feel alive.

Yes there are frailties in the body which often wounds 

Looking out for that person who struggles to reach that next page

And where there’s a path of hope, that’s my next stage 🙏🏽.

Jealousy

At a time some feel undone

They have done nothing wrong and want to run,

Some driven by money

Some content to have enough

Yes we know the world is so so tough.

A matter of hindsight 

A place we all need to touch,

It’s supporting others, that should mean so much.

Some care more than others

Or look to give and receive,

I have been burnt too, but it’s my time with God I rather receive.

It’s okay to offload

It’s okay to feel hard done by too,

But it’s faith in God which takes jealousy away

Where hope in God shall pave a welcome stay.

I go to this place

Wonderful people serving beautiful food,

There is this burrito, that’s so beautiful to eat

A taste of heaven springs to mind

A beautiful peace of art to consume in the pallet to find.

People that are friendly 

Yet the food is so…so there,

The beauty of this texture, 

I can’t speak higher of, or recommend still

It’s like saying a prayer, the beauty which is surreal.

The food I can’t speak higher of 

Especially that burrito which I crave so much love for this food,

This taste which is so wonderful, and maintaining my level of mood.

So go to this place which has a name ending in ‘jerk’

The kindness and love that’s put in each dish

The humbleness felt after the succulents reached my belly 

A taste of that kingdom full filling my heart

I pray all food is like this, so where do I start? ❤️🙏🏽

Remove and refresh

My time with God is so important 

If I remove myself from you, then questions need to be asked 

A overlap in communication, has now been masked.

Arguing for arguments sake 

That conversation goes not always lay good for me, 

I see the good in others; but God is the one who shall set you free.

Believe that or not? the truth that cannot hide

Peace in humility is a beautiful reflection to ride.

Love him or not? 

He is always there, through endureth direction 

I am not perfect and the Father says your choice is a far reflection.

If you don’t believe me? that’s cool, I am at peace

I won’t stop praying for you, at a time where I decide and release.

Prayer.. the gift of hope🙏🏽

Just try.. (praying)

And try not to expect anything in return,

Yet the Father will answer your prayer

But not always in a way you look to stare.

I love praying….

For Enemies, friends and strangers I walk by

Just a refreshing feeling, a happy tear is what I vie. 

I want friendship

Yet fellowship is the hardest I constantly face,

People coming from their brokenness can be trying

Yet it’s my pray for them which removes the angst and sighing.

Yes, I believe 

I wphkd be struggling with earth shattering questions.

The prayers lead my way 

Praying to the Father alleviates the Devil’s stay.

Just stay….

Don’t leave these words 

If you do, you are close to Faith

Believing in a powerful spirit

Living with you each single moment of the day

May the heavens rise above; from these words that I say.

Maturity to holding on 

Spiritual growth a place to reach,

Forgiveness so healthy

Letting go, is far more enriching toothaches trying to become wealthy.

I know when I reach out to him, I feel so exonerated and alive.

The spirit will last far longer than us all,

Protecting and praying

Whatever you think of prayer

It’s an open thought, that’s real and never removes.

Could hope provide love?

Of course it can

This beauty of faith, is for what we stand.

You are protecting 

Guarding God’s love, that’s perfecting,

I love you 

I care, and that’s through God’s light 

I feel healthy when I pray with him through a storm of the sight.

I can’t stop praying 

It’s his faith that arrives,

The Holy Spirit hits you, from there, there’s no surprise.

Faith holds our heart

We have all been betrayed, disaster has hit

It’s the love of the Father that makes us try to become spiritually fit.  

Insulin

A vital organ we all need to have

Without it, you can’t break any sugar in your body,

You need to be mindful of the carbs you eat otherwise  you’ll feel shoddy.

I pray one day this organ shall release inside

The ups and downs and people saying “you can’t eat that .”

So I say “so you are a doctor of endocrinology?

“Perhaps you can scientifically  insert a red beta cell with your clinical psychology ?”

“Or you are you a plastic diabetic, the one who knows how to inject?” 

“actually I know my body better, through this challenging defect.”

I  am now on a pump that releases insulin outside in

No more injections I need to take

But I carb count into a pump with a cannula hanging around,

I am content with that 

As those needles no longer need to surround.

Insulin, the recovery to get a cure looms ever so closer,

People on insulin or metformin face a daily fight,

Administering injections or medication to stay alive, 

I own diabetes, it doesn’t own me…that’s how I survive.

You never left me

We argue with you

Each second of the day…

How do you deal with this level of stress…

Oooooh It’s you, the Father, we just need to stay.

It’s about Love

It’s about Faith

It’s about you, it always has been

I am humbled you have seen.

Let’s pray

The son, light and the way

I need to get closer to you,

That’s why I want to stay.

You provide us with love, guile, steel and direction,

We just need to remember, you are the perfection.

Stay close Lord 

We need you more than we know, never leaving you, yet that’s for us to show.

Talk about it

Prayers are gifts from God

It’s your chance to release ample feeling,

You shall embrace his presence and no longer reeling.

You are a blessing from the Father

He never refuses you , or wants you to go…

You take your time falling for him, as that part shall never become slow.

The Father loves you 

Each each and every day, 

No going back to that struggling self 

His presence, overcomes any wealth. 

When love exists 

Then the devil loses his fight with hate,

You are protected by the Fathers’s calling 

You shall never enter into a realm of stalling. 

May he shine

He shines during the sun, storms and the rain

Living through times of challenges 

He refutes; to lead towards any damages.

It’s the only way to find God inside your heart 

The dangerous velocities have no place on this earth; 

Yet it’s treated like sport 

We should allow this and bring in what the Father has taught.

Your hope is there 

You don’t always need sunshine or rain,

Peace with your time with God , is what you look to retain.

Bitterness loses to love each time,

Self righteousness is no place to enjoy,

One thing for certain, God sets out your plan 

Simply accept the truth and deny the contraband. 

Authentic

When you believe 

Authenticity becomes the looming light,

Embraced through the kingdom is a glorious sight.

He loves you

Wants nothing but the best gift, what you are unable to see

You will endeavour on a journey and the humility shall arrive in thee.

You are original 

You are bright

You are magnetic 

You are also beautified and authentic.

You are held

As God provide gifts

Thank you Lord Jesus when all fails

That is what diabetes does,

The condition is so challenging 

Yet you are the master of the faded pancreas, which has been constantly damaging. 

It’s a condition like no other 

Watching, analysing and working it through,

It’s not like taking a tablet to end a form of pain

It’s the avoidance of damaging nerve endings, that’s the stain.

I pray one day this hell leaves this life that I own

Yet still I have to embrace it and avoid the drone.

Praying for everyone facing a day we all need to contend,

Then there are others which look for us to depend.

Working through this condition is no mean feat,

Over sensitive

You are who you are

it's as simple as that, 

some people regard that trait

and others do not understand and begin to question, 

aren't we all suppose to be different, especially from the words I am about to mention?

Accepting others for the way they are, 

I don't get chaotic people, that isn't my way

yet God works mysteriously, so we all have our part to lay. 

If someone isn't for you, that's fine

Don't beat yourself up or 'TRY' to judge anyone back, 

those who judge may have a point of view, 

yet that's where there is difficulty from understanding and negativity may pursue. 

Stay blessed and loved

try to do right each working day, 

people may say "but I do that already"

I am just expressing a positive note

We are all loved by the Father, where is humbles and tried not to gloat.

Closing doors

I have to leave you alone 

I find the conversation unhealthy and toxic,

Yet it’s my faith in God which always helps

cynical views make me want to yelp.

We live in times where conversations consistently drone 

Is it an age thing? Where people become ‘more’ cynical?

I am at an age where I want to reach my pinnacle.

Positive words are where I am at,

Not drinking stupidly and forgetting the night before,

My time with the Father refutes me from becoming sore.

My brothers and sisters who feed off negative energy, i beg you to stop this now!

Prayers for those who are patient

I care for those who are patient with me 

Can’t you appreciate I am spending time with thee?

I care for you

And I am sure you do for me

Yet it’s patience make others lack for what they cannot see.

Is that a dislike to others? Of course no 

Yet God is inside of you and he wants you to glow.

I cannot stop loving you 

Even if you hate me back,

Am I sensitive? Sure..

Yet a Christian person I shall not lack.

I want you to be happy,

I want you to be calm and beholding,

It’s about vocalising God’s word to cherish 

Heavens are with you, you shall never perish 

All the struggles

I pray for entirety 

For all facing sobriety,

needing hope especially when others judge

We live in a world where complexity needs a nudge.

Bring on the hope and joy

Arid negativity and pain,

Yet we have endured 15 months of “not knowing” 

Vulnerability seems forever growing.

Spending time on your own embraces 

Yet fellowship should never come in phases,

Be with positive people that make you grow 

for those working it out, pray afar, the pain shall stow.

Positive places we all need to reach

Yet life takes over and prayers are put below the pile of needs,

The love of God. shall never ever leave

It’s very therapeutic, anger has no place to be there.

We know the world isn’t perfect

But it’s praying that keeps us attained,

Prayer is there 

God’s calling is never a dare,

Counting the days will be stagnant 

but making them count gives purpose and light, 

may the heavens fill your heart

So count with harmony

Then the Devils attack shall eventually leave.

Smiling most of the time,

There is a story to each person;

Some are sad, happy or refined.

God’s passage for you,

is a place we arrive,

Give your heart to him

As the direction is alive.

It is the only way,

Open your eyes after a prayer

No more conflicting words to bare.

We all get Faith

We all know there is love and hate,

And the ‘L’ word always win,

Hate is nonsensical and needs to be put in the bin.

Materialism comes with money

With prayer comes faith, 

I prefer to pray than get that fancy car

Away from God is unhealthy, so don’t go far?

Prayers have a direction 

Materialism shall eventually wilt  

I prefer to pray, that’s where I tilt.

We live at times where drama and escalation is shown 

Faith in God is where I prefer to have grown.

Patience to get learnt

Time, Money and work

Bored at work.. 

Yet money I continue to receive,

making your own job?

advertising a role we seek to reprieve. 

Yet you need money to live

and energy to work stuff through, 

Yet boredom is not acceptable

that goes for money for being delectable. 

You receive the comment from others:

"Others do it, why not you?"

Yet your moral thinking is what you need to balance and avoid anything to lose your sense.

Bless you for receiving safety

bless you to stay hopeful and prim,

a sign of protection from the Father

there is guidance when things get harder.

People that don’t get you

People may not get you

That’s none of your concern, 

You are praying to the Father

From where you need to discern.

You are beautified 

And yes, you are loved,

Yes, it’s a tough world out there

And yes, there is a Father who protects, loves you and cares.

He is your first and your last,

He is the one who has got you,

As your past remains the past.

Release your anger 

Release the hate you receive, 

Stop hurting yourself from others destruction toward thee,

He is now in your heart, where the chains are now broken and you are set free.

Praying for a chance through his mercy and grace

Sugars are up, and then down

and then there’s balancing your life, 

With this underlying condition

it’s a case of keep trying and contemplating a successful rendition.

Try your best

And falling is no disgrace,

There is the fact you are trying 

So what if you end up crying? 

You are human 

You are also beautiful and strong,

It’s in the Father’s arms you belong. 

Try not to stress

Know your limits,

That’s your end goal to achieve,

As long as you pray with all your heart and soul,

You shall eventually believe. 

By his Grace

You can never tell when you face an attack

Looking to God

For his grace and mercy 

Humbleness, forgiveness and everything that’s worthy.

Holding onto faith 

That hope that gives you sight,

Attempting to remain positive 

From his glory in his sight.

The aim and direction

It’s through the Father you capture perfection.

Train to become patient 

Train to accept yours and others faults 

Refute the devil for his taunts.

You live to hold the Father close 

I pray for you all each and every day 

By his grace his love shall never go away.

You said “arrive to me?”

And several times I said the word “no”

And yet you believe in us all 

A human would leave us there to fall.

There are humble people that love you 

And there are those I need to be nearby,

Just like the moment you found me, standing still and continued to cry.

I said “leave me alone”

You said “okay I give you free will”

Yet you are my champion

The perennial hope and my insight to feel surreal. 

Now the belief is held inside, 

God; The Father who kept me alive,

Now I want him more and more

Forgiveness is a his gift where I am no longer sore.”

Easier said than done (Type 1 Diabetes poem) 🙏🏽❤️

We learn to live with problems each and every day imagine a condition that riles and pulls you away. 

Learning when to keep strong 

Learning to keep balance, especially when the hypos are there, 

working through a pattern of distress, 

this is about balancing of sugars, to avoid any kind of mess.

One day you will get great results 

the following day you will struggle with sugars which spiral out of your mind,

I try to remain positive, but the truth is, you are managing a tide…

It's no one's fault this has happened to us

injecting, analyzing and looking for the best ways to cope,

then there is that thriving prospect, where we try to avoid to go down that slope.

Remain positive despite the pancreas dying, or dead

Need to be strong and find a pattern that works for you, 

remember this is a challenge we look to ensue. 

No more

Remove yourself from anger

Remove yourself from those you love but they cannot help,

Love and pray for them afar 

This is your journey, where others cannot mar. 

You are proudly strong

Dismiss negative words said,

We are all on a quest to find peace and love

The devils aim towards you shall be binned.

Remove those who cannot support your spiritual needs

When all is said and done his son died on the cross for our sins to recede.

It’s the only way

What can I say 

I love you every day,

There is a purpose for us to meet 

I want you in my arms and we shall never face defeat.

I embrace 

I adore you 

You never refuse us

You defeat the devil who tries to abuse us.

I want us to live and strive 

 More than staying alive,

Light minded and facing direction 

It’s only him who is perfection.

Love is amazing 

calmness is never phasing,

Stay strong, you have that within the King 

Capture the wants for he shall bring.

He is the life, light and the way

He isn’t going anywhere that’s all I’ll have to say.

You have a choice, and yes it’s free will

He’s presence is timely and that’s not over kill.

He protects you from anger and the Devils tests 

He is the deal, the best choice and it’s free..

It’s not at all about those who aim to contrives.

It’s worthy of his hope and never ending glory

Take it all in your stride

The Father protects and never lets you hide.

Become bold

Become endearing 

His quest for you is never fearing.

Sleep with a dream 

And pray before you close your eyes

His best for you is beautiful 

As you shall never demise.

Hold your peace 

Provide his love which he gave,

You are a child of God

You are no longer a slave.

No more hate

And no more fear 

It’s through his love , there are no longer tears x 🙏🏽❤️ 

Run closer to Faith

When running I pray to God

I pray for his children as my focus brings me closer,

The cardio tests my heart when running up a hill

Yet it’s his faith in me that’s made my spiritual quest and gracious steal.

I never stop running 

I love keeping fit,

God wants you to work hard in everything you do

And his love, moving forward, is just a glance of the clue.

I am not upset when others have a grip at me,

My protection when running and praying inside 

This is the ultimate Father, the one you can openly confide.

Praying when running up a hill, that’s done 3 times a day

I feel protection from his almighty love

As he is always holding me inside,

A priceless motivation, from when the Father gave me hope and anger subsides.

Believe in what you do

You don’t need a single  lye,

You need Love and joy

This time on earth isn’t a toy.

 Be spiritual in the quest you say

I want you to be humble and never go away.

I like my peace on earth 

I like my peace when praying

So why rejective whole God keeps you staying,

Yes God gives you free will

That’s the humility as hope  an be surrreal.

Never leave, always know there

Beauty of Christ is what we look to share..

Clinical and Spiritual thought

No dithering around 

Make a decision and hold in what you truly believe 

You can’t please everyone, and it’s not about what others perceive.

Stick to a decision

Better or for worse,

Pray for the outcome, the Father will guide you there 

There are many awkward moments we need to stay assert for what we may share.

I love the thought to stay strong and make a decision for better or for worse, 

People may not like what you decide 

Just be honest with yourself, there your decision shan’t  subside.

Be at peace with love 

Be alert with the fight, 

There is only one way forward to where you want to reach 

Peace in God is the direction you should teach.

Believe in that place

Where do you presume I mean?

A sanctum

A garden 

Somewhere in between we do not need to pardon.

I mean heaven 

For now I am on earth,

The saviour of Christ is the ultimate worth.

I feel at peace 

When I pray to God,

He is my distiller, redeemer and ultimate thanks 

He is my mercy and gentle grace,

I want to go where he is as I’ll feel at peace 

He humble’s me, especially when I release.

I want to go to that place 

That place where I feel safe and overjoyed with his never ending love,

Stay focused on his direction and warmth held 

Pray to the Father, our saviour, the one who took our pain

Now we no longer have to withhold the Devil’s stain.

Birthday greeting to my cuz and a dear friend 

Often listened to me when I found it hard to depend.

May the day be joyous

With thoughts of humbleness and calming words,

Remember, this day belongs to you

A cherished person from what you to imbue. 

May the light open with smiles

And challenges be managed with direction and guile,

A humble soul working to do what is right 

This is about your enjoyment, with ample of insight. 

May the time you spend with love ones be a delight?

As I know our family make things more dramatic than needed,

Brought us together

There was a time when you arrived into my life

Pow.. that wonderful feeling… falling head over heals in love with each other,

And a  wonderful feeling where things started happening to one another.

Loving each other has never felt so easy

Looking towards hope where we thought it wasn’t there,

God brought us together as this poem is one for us to share.

This day we shall rejoice 

From our loving family and friends,

And that this journey starts with a single step from us both,

Humbled by God from this story we tell

Thank you bringing us closer from that sound of a church bell.

These are simple words, which arrows warmth and joy
