31st January 2016 (Baptism anniversary)

​It was the 31st January 2016,
Where months before my life before did change.
This wasn’t an ordinary moment, God touched my heart, where I started to feel Jesus, the ultimate rearrange.

So I decided to get baptised
Learn what it’s like to be with God, 
Like I said previously, my heart was broken months before, 
yet this was a making of a new heart and creation from which God loves ya that bit more. 

You see in July 2015 I started to cry,
Building up all my hateful emotions, perhaps contemplating suicide, when I considered the possibility of wanting to die.

And despite the falls and mistakes I made on this journey, 
I know I am with God now, where I am no longer jittery or nervy.

Don’t get me wrong, on occasions I have lost who I was
But when I speak to Jesus, I know he was the Son of God, the one who paid the price on the cross. 

I didn’t believe, but now I do,
I write these words of encouragement, because it’s not about me, this is just as much about you. 

I thank God everyday
For the air I breathe, the repentance and creation of the son of man,
When Jesus died on the cross, from that day we all have free will to open our hearts and take a stand.
