Great are you Father…

So you are great, so great that God’s gift of love is for you

And clearly it’s free will, as the blood inside of you shall never feel blue.

So protection is God’s way

It’s the only reason for you to endure, be at peace, flourish and stay.

 So remember love and embrace the joy,

And if this isn’t a season of tremendous change, 

don’t worry, just avoid that person the devil, the one who has always been deranged.

Diabetes… a maths equation

Imagine being bad at maths

And with this condition it becomes more of a clash.

So you learn to calculate food

And insulin to later inject,

And there’s the 1 to 1 ratio that you need to perfect.

Then there’s the hypos 

And balance sugar to overcome the lows of the body and mind

And there are people less empathetic, well that’s what I find.

Diabetes the worlds biggest killer

But there we stand strong,

If others have this and become a slightly bit ridged, that’s where they can be wrong.

What a strain!

Losing a job

And to add to that, there’s losing a person you love

You have no anticipation when an attack do arrive, and where empathy needs to be in place.

There’s drama in the condition, I truly hate to admit

When you need to test, calculate and then deploy

Child like people who often become frantic.

So you keep yourself away

Or better still pray for them, then keep them at bay.

They are not good for your soul

From this diabetes journey you truly embark

balancing this condition can be quite a Lark..

So avoid and don’t feel sad

Your health comes first, thus have a fad?

Panic? A Natural reaction, but what does that cause?

Stay still, there’s a time to also reflect and pause.

When things are not going well?

You can be lost amidst of the storm,

Avoid those you love, especially when they say something bad

You know it’s the devil within them that’s trying to get you mad.

I pray for love, hope and eternal light

Even though this is not taking place today,

Prayers for one another, where our restore lives shall stay.

The storm and rain

You need a storm passing to lead to the rain

Their is nothing in the spirit that they are unable to contain

The storm appears quite a lot

Losing your focus doesn’t give you a shot.

I am here pressing for answers to show

Will that person humble their hearts, so please let go.

Are we smothered with what’s we retain,

Tomorrow will take care of itself 

And you’ll find it leads to humble wealth.

The storm shall pass, the rain is here

One thing for certain, the spirit if you allow shall overcome fear.

Head not on your shoulders

It’s all a blur

A sudden loss,

Coping day by day

The cloth is in the ears, which can’t leave you to stray.

Why?

Because you start a day with a prayer

A protector

A overseer

Praying to God is a guide to be freer.

Tomorrow a different thing takes place,

Somethings are unavoidable and just need to face.

Despite this process

Yes, I am not around

You must feel your head on the ground.

Yes, I am feeling slightly tired

Yet I know through prayer, I am looking to you Father. Me? I am not to be admired.

Why would I say this? That I shouldn’t be admired?

Yet through a humble prayer, I shall become reset.

Where there is joy

There are challenges to overcome,

There is the father, son and the spirit; the three in one.

We try to stay strong 

We try to have a balanced reflection of time,

Looking towards the positive goals

Avoid gossip and idle foes.

Be plentiful in your asks

And avoid conflict through passive vexatious words

They too are timid, with unnecessary blurb.

Not too tight, just gently held

We are all children of God, he’s son died for us… but never failed.

Diabetic Christian

Strange set of affairs 

This diabetes lark,

When having a hypo you feel the heavens are leaving us to stark.

Yet you discover you are having a hypo

Probably 2, 3 or 4 times a day 

You want the prayers to answer for these hypos to just to go away.

Then you get these stressful Cypriots who think you are having a cold

But it’s your ruddy blood sugars, where others think you are rude, yet you are just being brought down, so you become bold.

I suppose at least don’t blame God

Actually I love the Father more,

It’s the elements in the equation, the one I do accept and humbly adore.

So as I pray for this never to exist 

I humble my heart for this auto immune condition to eventually leave 

Prayerful thoughts, which you cannot conceive.

I prayed for you, not to get a promotion or a favourable smile,

I prayed for you so I can release 

tame the gossipers, you know? the Devil’s beast.

 

I hate gossip 

It’s fickle and dry,

It has no place in our spirit as I rather say to that person ‘goodbye’.

So as I pray for your soul

You need to be a type (diabetes poem)

You can’t be frantic, insecure and blurred 

Learning this Diabetes art is a right pain in the behind

Managing this condition can be quite a bind.

Take me for instance 

I look fit and fairly fresh,

Getting blood sugars in control, can often be taxing and a mess.

The stress others bring you are either abrupt or relaxed

A stressful soul  you need  to avoid, as when you have a hypoglycaemia attack it’s hard to feel buoyed.

Stress is naturally going to take place 

Stressful souls need to back off, 

They are fickle and uneducated

The discussion having diabetes is not seen as exonerated.

Treat it like todays society, in a busy place 

Chaotic, manic.. the things others enjoy 

For those with type 1 diabetes stay still, relax as this challenging condition does aim to destroy.

It inevitable 

Change does take place,

What’s that old saying: “if it don’t need fixing? Don’t change”

The prediction of evolvement isn’t always the same.

Today I am here

Tomorrow I may not be around,

So what is that? Change! 

It’s not deluded when adjustment needs to be arranged.

Love is changing 

Kindness is the key,

Outgrowing is part of the process

Doesn’t you mean you love that person at all less.

So as today turns it’s first page

Write a list…

Or react, if that’s your natural way to work? 

As long as you pray before starting the day

Two worlds meet

For better and for worse,

Love is the bolt for you two

These are not magical words, it’s spiritual in the world you’ve pursued.

As time goes by

We all have our niche

Some creative 

Some in the wrong job, which pays the bills

And there’s that moment, which is so so surreal.

Time of the essence

A fall back line of words,

We are working it out daily

As we look towards the moon and stars gazingly.

Time will pass

People come and others shall leave,

The ones you are less fond of who may annoy you, but they affirm there legacy in what they impede.

Today is a blessing 

God hangs around all of the time

Love one another is a gift that’s so impacting

Recovery is a bind

Believe it or not, from departure brings out what is kind.

Love is what it is

Supposedly living in peace, or the temptation of a risk.

Show each other kindness

Does kindness lead to others blindness?

Are we skilled with no one to share

There is love in God which always leads to a glare.

It’s love that has always been one

It may lead towards a bit of fun.

We are humbled with joy of mercy and grace

what are we looking towards?.. arguments? Disputes? Or a hug that refutes.

It is like listening to Luther Vandross, Celine Dion or another angel who we have known to sing

There is hope in joy which we can say

We all count as humans, despite what others say
