Thank you for today

And thank you for this life

Thank you this uplift poem to remove any form of strife.

Thank you for the people I’ve met

For the period I’ve got up know them, and where my eyes reset.

I thank you for this journey taken on earth

A place where the son of God arrived to save us all,

Taking on the gentiles and Pharisees who thought they knew much better

And overcame challenging times from a humbling letter.

Thank you for taking the time to bring us hope

Edifying through the presence of God’s walk,

I am not here to argue or seek advice

I am remaining still and listening to others speak

Yet I know in my heart, it’s reflection is what I seek.
