It’s simply about connection
Keep your distance
Keep your heart and mind
Some people are for you, and some can be dismissed
The argumentative ones I rather not put on my Christmas card list.
I rather speak to light minded people
Not people I have to be careful what I want to say,
Those serious types are not for me, I’ll politely go away.
I rather be with people who are joyful
At this stage that are far and few between,
Talking topics on the news which can cause debate
I rather dismiss their conversation, rather be put in a state.
People are varied and that what’s make the world go round,
I rather learn and be allowed to speak my point of view
Rather than someone looking for a debate and later say ‘they don’t have a clue’.
