It’s sad what happens in life
Yet today I went to a narcotics meeting and felt revived
We all deserve a chance, as long we are fighting,
And shall come through this test through pasts surviving.
I am here
So I fucked up,
Do not judge me, as the authorities have held me to account
I am now here having my hand held
No matter how often I have disappointed myself and others through the times I have felled.
I did love the kick
However, the trial and recovery awaits,
The forthcoming shall overcome my fate.
I am not here not to gossip
I am here to repair and keep trying,
God willing as I have now made the first step… which you need to celebrate and avoid denying.
