Will it be Alcaraz or Sinner,
A new generation of tennis player, when tomorrow’s Wimbledon final decides a winner.
Their was Becker, Edberg, McEnroe, Borg and Connors,
Champions in their own right aiming to win the ultimate completion
If they won it once they would want to aim for a rendition.
There was Newcombe, Laver, Emerson and Roach
They fought for this title, something where they needed to bring their ‘A’ game with the desire to win,
Skills, temperament and the longing to put themselves in the history books
The guile to win and self-belief is where I look.
Victory is the aim
And in 52 weeks this will start all over again,
Looking to secure the title of Wimbledon champion, a title they will look forward to defend.
