That’s my ol’ man
I was almost his greatest fan I would say
But three following words shall simply slay.
He loved his skin crisped to the bone
He was a child of God after all, he would also try his luck to get on the Father’s throne.🤣
It’s sunny today
Those were the days where my Dad would smile,
“I fancy doing a barbecue, it’s the weather for it” I hear…
I can picture his face, no tears just happy memories to endear.
He was my mate, my father… and he got me and many others l..
He would listen and tried not judge
And would hear a lot of words mentioned about others, and would reply: “leave that out, that’s down to them”
He was my kind of guy
A beautiful spirit and words which cause myself and others no surprise.
“Love you dad x”
