Yet, I appreciate it’s easy to do,
Life wasn’t meant to be simple, yet life doesn’t always provide you with the necessary clue.
The kick takes place
Looking for that moment when eyes are wide shut,
There is always that moment, if there is a ‘is’ or a ‘but’.
I give God thanks that I am still here
The dangerous situations I put myself in, plus the depths of the fear.
You are trying so remind yourself that fighting is key
Sobriety is a positive, so stick to it… you’ll soon again be able to see.
Life is here
Yesterday can’t be reclaimed at all,
Remember the time we embraced this journey needs to have it’s goodbyes
Hope springs eternal as tears are released from the eyes.
