It’s true, you are there
Hoping that I’ll come your way,
And all I have to do is accept, and that you have the final say.
You are there
You never left,
You provide us with glorious hope
Avoiding to go down that slippery slope.
I am closer to you now
I love it when the chains are released,
No longer self righteous, you have now tamed that horrid beast.
You are my saviour
The one who opened his door,
I am now praying, wanting that little bit more.
