Embrace this day
Prosperity and love, that’s where I want my head to I lay.
We work hard
Find our way through,
Looking to move forward by recalibrating
You are humbled in spirit through a moment of deliberating.
Thank you Lord
We do try despite the odds stacked against,
Looking to aspire rather than sit on the fence.
We keep moving
As cliche as that sounds, it’s the only way to go
Please say a prayer for me child, I rather not stand still nor go slow.
