You see change can overwhelm
you are held by grace and at the helm,
you are blessed with a new opportunity… so enjoy, but we appreciate the apprehension
as there is hope in sobriety and tremendous retention.
You have been through an ordeaL
you don’t need reminding of what has past,
this is your future, so adaption needn’t be slow nor fast.
The moral is to be kind to you
yes…easier said than done,
this journey is not a destination, so nothing has ever been won.
But well wishes come from a soul for someone who has been beaten up and had others too on the floor,
I pray to God for light and hope…. as for you, and much, much more.
