Grant me the wisdom to see the light
Grant me the strength to move past this fight.
Grant me the love to see this day through
Thank you for allowing me to be my authentic self and that I needn’t sue.
Grant me the hope to glide past the turbulent tide
grant me the solitude and grace from the moment in God whom I confide.
Grant me the blessings to see through the past
grant me the understanding not everything shall last.
Grant me the temperament to see past the anguish that we can see
and grant me the diligence to accept one day we all shall become free.
