You simply never know
you have dreams and aspirations and then grow,
but then life takes over, the drink, the tablet and the powder is presented
it would so simple of those things could be resented.
it easy to be kind to ourselves
that’s why we don’t do it,
I am now recovering from the devil’s curse
I am getting to a headspace to no longer make it worse.
I now look to you
and perhaps you can look to me,
our paths may or may not have crossed?
we are no longer facing that horrid form of dross.
