When you look outside

When the world is crashing and there’s nothing you can do

Simply pray to God for hope from this fortitude we look to pursue.

When you look out of a window during that quiet somber thought,

Remembering people who we once use to talk too as their loss to us causes us to feel distraught.

So we look outside 

We look to the heavens to be return again,

The prodigal son never left us, as this is a time to pray

Hope is magnified during hardships as we look to learn and avoid a time to stray.

Remember that quiet moment 

When you simply stop and look into the sky,

Remembering the eternal love of God is one certainty to remain… and never say to us goodbye.
