Some will understand us and have been on the road we have been down
I know I want to come out the other side and refuse to drown.
A deep breath
Something to release,
A technique to calm the craving
I am no longer want to blame myself for waning.
Breath in, and hold for four seconds
Release, and relax for the same amount of time,
Taking away all that angst in the hope that we shall be fine.
Recovery is hard
It’s an achievement you never thought you would overcome,
Remember you are worthy in hope, through the conquest to simply be as one.
