Walk on ‘your’ lane

​focus on you
Yes, totally on you,
This is your time to shine
Today is simply present as the passage is sublime. 

We are all learning day to day
Some from negative and positive people, 
We give others the benefit of the doubt, 
which is a trusting thing and has weight with plenty of clout.

People you meet 
Are people you are supposed to find, 
You may have serious or laughable conversations
The point is, you are in a ‘safe space’ but of they enter into connotations. 

Focus on your heart
Focus on the people that you love, 
Remember you are just as important as the moon, rain and sunny skies
The eyes will tire at the end of the day and often reflective though a sigh.

Write vs talking

​Talking is a release
Gets stuff off your chest, 
There is therapy in your friendships, they are not qualified but to you they are the best. 

Writing in my vibe
But when you start you cannot stop, 
A release of words through pen to paper or words pressed onto a blog
The words are a sign you are prepared to overcome the slog.

Talking can lead towards a debate
I am more into the words released to express my thoughts; 
Discussion is a positive thing but sometimes we are not looking for a solution or answer
I just want to talk and say my peace 
Moving forward with your thoughts.. never need to cease.

The pen helps you concentrate and simply flow 
You won’t regret putting pen onto paper, 
It doesn't matter how silly the words are, they belong to you 
They are not for judgement, just a set of words and beliefs which you ensue.

We keep trying… for today

​Not everything works with the first try
You keep receiving bad news, but remember, you need to wipe the tears after you cry. 

It’s okay to cry 
I am not saying that ever needs to stop, 
The release is a chance to regain a new life
The next step begins the journey to remove forthcoming strife. 

The morale is to keep moving, 
And it does matter who you are, 
You are light in God’s shining, and you will reach that shining star. 

I don’t have this thing called life sussed out, 
I have left people I love and don’t want to ever see again,
But I know how how to manage my tears when they come out
Remember, these words are for you to hold you close
As today, simply today…. Loves you the most.

Don’t be scared

​Don’t be scared
You see, it’s a natural thing to feel like this,
Preparing this feeling takes it time
You are here today, do feel this moment from a open mind.

Don’t be scared 
Do something gregarious and unassuming, 
Sing to the top of your voice, 
Do not care if others think it’s noise. 

People are who are they
So don’t be scared and try not to judge,
There might be something in common that you have;
Doesn’t mean you have to be best friends or a connected made
I have learned to be in the centre of God other this are already tamed.

You see, being scare is what life does to you, 
Some of you ‘just get on with it’, but the reality you still need to think and work it out
Today you can be scared but when you sleep, the angst doesn’t make you shout.

I can have a off day… not a day off

​We can all have bad days
People have higher expectations that others, 
We look for answers from questions to appease a situation  
Quietening the outcome to an elevation. 

Don’t be too hard on yourself
I say this to myself all of the time, 
But do I listen? Not at all, I tend to kick myself on my behind.

You can have a off day, but not a day off,
Life is the battle we all have to face
There are periods in life which you shall inevitably be high, low and nothing great
It’s all about seeking balance.. and refuse to feel that word ‘hate’.

I write with love
And I write with peace in my heart,
We can be ‘off’ today, and that is okay
Don’t be hard on yourself, it’s not worth it in the end
Learn from your failings through these words I shan’t never defend.

Take your time

​Do not rush
Be hasten with your speed, 
Look towards a prayer, anxiety can never supersede. 

Do not rush
Love and learn the things you possess, 
You are a child of your higher power, no more and never less.

Kindness is there 
As I am not saying be nice all of the time
you are not a fool, you are person with hearts filled divine. 

Today has arrived,’
As the chaos needs to leave, 
Calm you heart with a prayer, which doesn’t involve a trick up your sleeve.
