Who cares but I suppose the Father hasn’t forgot.

God: Speak to me, or pray?
The devil has never won this fight at the end of the day.

Me: What is the point of that?
I am just repeating myself as when I do that I look a pratt.

Me: I need to got on with it but not sure what to do?
I am looking to you God always, what’s the path I pursue.

And I want peace of mind
And most importantly of all I need God’s inside of me to actually be able to find.

Spirits

​Spirits are difficult to remain high,
Often you look at life, and yes, you wonder why? 

We all ask questions for answers we don’t know, 
I refuse that concept to find out! As I believe what is prayed for shall eventually turn up and show.

We all have our quirks
Some will accept and others don’t,
It’s only a problem if it causes harm, and your efforts to stop the act won’t dis-harm.

The moral of the poem is to say it shall be okay,

Looking to be centred when feelings of  sensitivity linger, 
I am over thinking now, but I won’t pull the pointless trigger.

A blessing is grateful
I suppose I am sending this to you, 
Timing is of importance, it’s between you, I and God on this road we pursue.

I prefer walking this road
I am comfortable with age, 
Like someone said to me once: “get over yourself” which jolted me a little;

​My argument wasn’t with God, it was with me!
Think about it? aren’t we meant to pray and feel the blessings that God provides you to see?

We are loved by others
Yet God always comes first,
It’s an overwhelming nature, a bit like gasping for thirst.

I now won’t argue with God
As I pray to him instead,
I know under my own will I would definitely been dead.

This world isn’t about me
Spreading the kindness gives us all hope,
I am not alone on this walk, which I do not know where it shall take me
But I know in God’s kingdom that one day I’ll be set free.

This journey has just begun

​The first step is the hardest
And there will be slip ups on the way,
Look towards your destination, then again it is a journey, that path I rather stay.

When I confessed to have a problem and I couldn’t stop
People were apprehensive to say I had an issue,
I would reply: “yes… the problem is you”.
Then again I began to ask: “what do you really want J?”
Actually my answer was ‘I can’t people f@ck off as this place is where I prefer to stay’.

Now One year on, jeans can now fit… just
I go to the gym, and despite feeling tired afterwards, that dopamine for I do trust.

The hands I held were the services and my own;
I refuse to hug anyone as nonsensical words came from those who thought they knew,
I spoke to a medic and told him I simply had enough,
As it was only 18 months before I felt phenomenally tough.

Today I am happy 
I do my thing and cause not angst to others,
As I know there is a spirit out there protecting you all as my head, heart and soul no longer shudders.

We are all learning

What do you see?
There is someone looking over thee?

I say the usual statement: “it will all be okay”, I don’t need to speak to a elder to provide that pearl of wisdom, as I get that information from God,
At time of contemplation and time on my own,
If you think negativity of course you’ll feel alone. 

So I refute, I keep away
No more hurting yourself with what “you presume others think”,
You are closer to yourself, and at the virtual of the brink.

​Sometimes it can be arduous

If you are? there is a Lord who died for you and one day you’ll see him on the throne,

Your life is precious 

Despite how some days you treat it,

Don’t be upset with your past, you can’t take it back

Struggles are apart of the faithful step

You shall find the chances, so allow God to give you the blessings to reset.

Where there is Peace, there is also hope

Hope releases love 

And love is the power to find your inner sanctum to retreat,

So pray from your heart, it’s worth trying to do

Humility is there to capture the blessings which have ensued.

​not talking to you doesn’t mean I don’t care!

But yes, you are right you not for me,

Sorry for my directness or even distance if you are offended,

I safeguard my heart, that is what the Father in heaven has done for you in order to be defended.

Doesn’t mean I don’t love you 

And you are not really winding me up,

I suppose you need to get your ‘fun’ from somewhere 

I’ll close you down anyway, so my mind shall be elsewhere.

People will try to rile you

But you are protected through a blood filled prayer,

What does that mean exactly? The baptism when you God as your Lord and saviour is also security to declare,

My life needs to be fun and peace,

The words don’t always align, as others will attempt to derail your spirit to dim your light

You are blessed by the Father in heaven after all, so you have already won this fickle fight..

​The day is here

And there is plenty to cheer as well as fear,

So what I am saying, is that I  couldn’t do it without prayer

Looking to the skies and looking for hope somewhere.

Yet it was within,

Speaking to God and giving him my heart,

We may all look good on paper, and have this thing called ‘life’ which we think we have susssed,

But it’s the Lord we ought to always trust. 

You learn to be with you and do it on your own, 

Yes there is free will, but with the Lord there is a great spirit, so you are never alone. 

Therefore fight 

As God is along your side,

If I cry, then I cry alone, and the peace shall later arrive,

This sobriety journey is overwhelming, and it’s sweetly thanks to God that I have survived.

1 year today

​1 year today since I last picked up

Having that drink,

And not having the capacity to at all think.

Repeating myself with constant slurs 

Incomprehensible with those unmentionable words.

I was beaten up

Wanted life totally to be over,

I even tried to take this my but God put his hand on my shoulder. 

I thought no one cared

Then again I was in total denial,

Even those that experience was my consistent style.

Thinking I had life sussed out

But then again the losses took place,

Not knowing I could keep up with a drink at any pace.

So I say this…

If I can pull this then you can too,

This life called a ‘journey’ can easily leave you behind 

So I suggest choose ‘yourself’ and recapture the times when you need body, heart and mind.

​You may question 

Wondering how a miracle took place,

You said to ‘no’ to God and this miracle takes place..

but can only be the father to hell, at the time you couldn’t manage the pain.

You said “wow” you did this

You make me grow again,

Opening up all possibilities, at the point we couldn’t move or mend.

You show this time and time again

And still we look to question, 

Isn’t that wonderful, we get another chance by learning this lesson?

The only way is to follow Christ

Who is their inside our hearts,

​Take this thing called ‘life’ by the horns

​Pray, and you won’t feel alone

Nothing wrong with crying, but too much shall make your heart feel like stone. 

Simply pray, it’s with the Father in heaven after all, 

So pray with all your heart and allow the tears to flow, 

None of us don’t know how long we shall be around!

And when you leave? Then your mind will lay itself onto the ground. 

What I am saying, you are not alone,

Accept that with every fibre of your being,

There are blood relationships who won’t get you, so talking to them won’t be always freeing. 

Pray, the light will open doors to meet others, 

Time with God is humbling and practically correct, 

If you don’t want to feel alone, then stop, pray for this isolation to be removed,

God’s love is never ending, and shall always inside of you will sooth.

Keeping Distance

 

When things change and you need to re-adjust,

there is a need to keep your head and heart safe,

Those who are passive-aggressive shall try to blame it onto you, which is part of their uncharacteristic haste.

Keep your distance and ignore those silly remarks, 

they think they are bantering, but they admit they don't know what they are doing, 

don't believe that in the slightest

You are better by not responding 

so walk away, leave them dumbfounded by you absconding.  

 

People can be too much

Don't say a word, they want a response! 

They are trying to barrack your self-esteem with a chuckle and a giggle

By ignoring them,  I can vouch you are not at all being fickle. 

 

There's the passage in the bible, which says 'the speck of the eye, and log from the 'other's' eye,

Remove yourself, as they are no better than you despite their efforts to rile your soul

So pray before the next word is said

Just ignore the silly sod... they don't have a life, so a response is pointless, well that's what I personally believe instead.

I felt emotionally attacked,

Trying not to let demons enter in 

Looking for chances of a gentle win.

But I started the day rude

And then my diabetes hypo kicked in,

I am refusing the one who loves me to help this dizziness which myself to be fraught

Learning to grow as I stem off the hypo taunt.

Just a awful day

Tomorrow will be better,

I am trying to say the right words to humble my heart 

But my potty mouth gets me into trouble, where I think I am being smart.

Just a day I rather forget

Looking to God for a chance to feel a little elevated

Rather than my tardiness to get carried away and escalated.

​I write with love

And sometimes I write through dislikes, 

Often I get angry with others, so I discern as therefore I would be told to get on my bike.

I look to love

And the new generation will face that one day too,

I fill them with encouragement through a prayer,

Knowing God is guiding them everywhere.

​I want peace 

Which money can’t buy,

I pray everyday for it,

Then again I am in London the place of chaos and garish dreams

But not everything comes across as it seems.

I want peace 

I stay in a room and work out my next move, 

I want love and harmony put in a jar to take this angst away, 

It’s the desire to balance the heart where grief leaves finally one day.

Not this raucous nonsense that hoovers about, 

The tension can be unbearable and makes you want to shout.

​Why do we train? 

Because we need something to lift,

We look to our inner self’s and ask many questions,

Where the answer is actually in the training session.

I suppose we should, 

Why did the Father in heaven bring down his son?

Victory of exercising faith has already been won.

So keep training 

Whatever you are that to be, 

Peace is a byproduct until we leave this loud and often inconsistent earth,

The want of trying is a goal for yourself to see,

Go with it

​it’s easier said that done

To be around pessimism can’t always be fun,

That person may know that too

I rather be alone or be around my higher power to imbue.

I rather just flow,

And ‘try’ not to worry

Because worrying needs to be left alone,

Not my conversation, I am afraid

I speak to God first, the rest no longer stays.

The time to chill is to acknowledge you can’t do anything at that time,

Discerning is a skill, where God speaks to us first, at the forefront of the prime.

Relaxing can be hard

Yet it isn’t all about speed,

Doesn’t matter how bright you are?

​Fight all you want!

I suggest to fight with all the love in your heart,

There is a Father who knows better than of all of us …and that’s by far. 

Spiritual light is far more encouraging than what academia sees,

Sin is sin, so confess with all your heart at a time your access to the Father is free.

No fancy words 

No out doing others with long words in an argument, that proves nothing,

There’s no embarrassment on a child of God, and that’s quite something …🙏🏽

This path is between you and God,

Others may be part of your walk,

You are held by a higher power, 

so accept you are broken and you shall reborn and devour.

“give your heart to the Lord, the paradise shall arrive…. He is coming”

What is the aim?

To be at peace

Some love the chaos

They can f@ck well off,

The commotion is part of the wroth. 

The peace we search for avoids the chaos we often introduce,

I seek God’s kingdom first and the rest can take the stage,

I am praying to be with the Lord first and foremost and turn to that next page.

We can all fall short!

The higher power loves regardless what you feel at the start. 

We are hear for a short time

So enjoy it, and bask in the higher power which you seek to accept,

We won’t always get it right, that’s a fact

​Are you asking questions day by day

Then not knowing what solution to find, and trying to ignore embarrassment which may come at harms way. 

Looking for attention?

When that job ultimately lays with God,

Staying humble with an open mindset without others causing you to get involved in any slipshod.

Be kind to you 

Be kind to YOUR life,

This life is only for a length of time, 

Speak to those you want to speak with, and others pray from afar, 

The latter conversation is a safeguard which can only cause your head to feel ajar. 

Be the best version of yourself

Be humble and speak your truth quietly and avoid any aggression, 

When we are long gone from this earth, then humble your hearts through a spiritual confession.

This is not saying you are ‘bad’…

Despite the feeling you may have at the time, 

You are just at important as those in positions of power, your actions can save a life too , and that is humbly divine.

The first step

​No one asked to be a addict

Alcohol tricks your mind in places you can’t fathom, 

The light headedness the soothing flavours of the drink

Before you know it you won’t be able to even think. 

We might be already told this isn’t the right path,

And you aren’t prepared for this delude of a wrath, 

This road is something we won’t ever comprehend,

But there were times we didn’t know to defend. 

The struggles are there 

And there are people who will say “I told you so”,

But I thought I knew myself best, until the higher power took over my inebriated show. 

The strain is there 

The higher power will eventually take place, 

God is in charge now, at moments when you surrender this can’t be overcome through our own haste.

​The art of stop drinking, or taking a drug

Is the most challenging you shall ever face,

The avoidance especially at this time to indulge, in a creation with heighten taste. 

The feeling is amazing 

The euphoria is immense,

You feel on top of the world but this consistency has repercussions and shall be intense. 

Be kind to you 

As this is the hardest answer to achieve, 

There are those who believe in you, and that’s the essence of strength you shall be able to receive. 

We can all give insults, but what’s the point in that? 

Life is precious and vices need to be enhanced,

I’ll end on this note by saying there is a heaven, but on this earth there is no second chance.

There is finally peace, it’s where God overcomes your pride.

​when you get older 

You look inevitably look back at life, 

Where stories are frequently mentioned 

As new ones shall now be rare and few

Reminiscing is what we often imbue.

So laugh

Say something, or see something funny,

The spirit of laughter brings ultimate joy through a day looks gloomy but inside you feel it’s sunny.

Be at peace 

But find joy with a grin that lifts,

It’s difficult to sustain, but laughter is a humbling gift.

Laughter can be through anything,

Yet it’s feeling can heal anyone’s mood, 

I thank God for the feeling of laughter, and remove the feeling when someone could be said rude.

​happiness or positivity is such a rare view that we don’t always see,

People in the west of the world have the tools to stay to survive, 

Or perhaps we are happy being miserable when we actually should be grateful to remain alive.

Life is yours to capture 

And hold onto the love you that you find,

A simple hug is enough, not all this passiveness to make anyone go blind.

Be gracious 

And be heightened from a prayer which can make all the difference,

Be humble in your heart, and through God never be distant.

Today is a day where you can learn and find a stronger path,

People who love you, guide you and keep you attained

Love with all your heart, that’s a hard quest for anyone to undergo,

​If you want to remember anything? you are you; and no one else 

You have received grace and mercy 

And hold yourself close and wonderfully worthy. 

Who else can you be?

Yes, you can modify and change a bit,

But your heart is always young despite the strain we put it under,

We are all asking questions, at times at a tremendous thunder.

You see, we all face insecurities 

And I am not saying I know everyone on this earth!

But when you think about it? God created us so why do we knock our view

I rather speak to God FIRST, that’s where I get my clue. 

If you speak low of yourself, what do you achieve, 

Some play it down, that ‘person’ is me too,

Working through the pain and praying for what next to do. 

You see, you are beautiful…

And I am not just saying that for the sake of saying!

If others don’t get it… then f@ck them, you are in the position where you are meant NOW to read these words;

Mental health

​There are so many stages of mental health, 

I pray when it gets chronic for myself , as I pray to God to keep my spiritual wealth. 

I hate this condition

And I often get many low moods, 

I isolate myself and refuse anyone seeing me become narcissistic and that leads to me becoming rude. 

The triggers can come unexpectedly and out of the norm in fact, 

Learning to manage the strain this inflicts

And be prepared to take this emotional hit. 

Where you learn from this journey

And this experience shall eventually make you become strong, 

The strength will arrive, there’s no negotiation for your life to go wrong.

A conversation with yourself

​​Think about it? We speak to each other all of the time,

We are technically our own therapists, 

Finding out our solutions and will go to the doctor when we feel lousy, or have a cold,

I also speak to God, that is a story which often unfold. 

I like to be on my own

Speaking away and finding out solutions, 

To need to calm down when stresses hit the mind, 

That deep breath is quite hard to navigate… that’s what I find! 

Then the conversation with yourself is the best you can ever receive,  

Others may call it being ‘mad’, well! reflection with a chat to yourself is unable to leave.

I love being with me

Which means I also love being with I,

My time with myself and God is relaxing and deep delves why I feel low or high. 

The chat with yourself could be calm?

The result is for you to become humble and well…

Remember advice to yourself, is the best you will be able to tell.

​You can reflect 

You can blame the ‘ifs’ and ‘whys’, 

Don’t worry and don’t let anyone remind you of your failings, they are not perfect even though they will frequently deny.

Be gentle with your heart, 

There are plenty of times when pressure comes around

Be good to yourself when you can, and don’t allow yourself to reach that ground. 

Be kind to you, God has given you a life to achieve the good things you can

You are capable of being a kind person inside, and hold yourself naturally where you stand.

You have gifts, and yes you have thrown them away countless times

Remember you are a child of God first and foremost

And one day, just one day…. You shall learn to live this life and coast.

​don’t make dreams your master 

Turn them into something real,

Look to God as your master and refute the devil who chooses to steal.

Be kind to the dreams you sleep on, and remember happiness is a byproduct and can only last for a period of time. 

Remember the light from the darkness you were once at;

And if you are there still be good to your soul, 

Remember this life is only temporary 

And through the Father’s eyes you shall shine as well as glow. 

Today is a blessing 

And tomorrow shall shine its light of polite on the way, 

This is a reminder to myself also, as the brightness in you is a blessing where God wants you to stay.

Speak with love, honesty and direction 

Praying is the hope to lean towards God for his perfection.

Be the best version of you

Look to the skies and pray for eternal light,

There shall be the day of calmness and that you shan’t need to fight.

People you shall see

Others you won’t want to be around,

Does that mean you are a bad person? That’s a great question which I often find profound.

If it’s silence you desire, then go for that

​We all do belong 

Get things right and, then sometimes wrong, 

Acceptance you are imperfect in a imperfect world, 

Look to dance with the stars and make a twirl. 

Be beautiful and charming

The world has its problems but we do need to smile, 

Addictions run through and getting them out of your system can take awhile. 

I meditate 

Others say a prayer, 

I know there is a force out there protecting us at the moment once we arrive there. 

Be kind 

Be hopeful 

Keep fit or look to go that way, 

Remember, there is hope, even if it’s a glimmer

The walk of life is challenging but one day we shall make it simpler.

​In a world I know could be great again

We look at what’s going on from the previous times we use to depend. 

So you hold back and let people talk their talk, 

I rather have a clear head, and stride comfortably through my walk.

I don’t like to argue, 

Even if a debate arises 

I take it to the gym instead, from there I get more surprises. 

I suppose I wish it could go back how it was, 

A slower pace

A gentler vibe to get things done, 

And more opportunity to feel humble… and have enjoyable feeling byproduct called FUN.

Prayer for health

​I pray for anger to be removed,

Politics exacerbates and doesn’t soothe,

It’s time for change and it needs to be for the better

The pace of life today is too fast, so slow it down and stop this getting fetter. 

Take your time 

Pray to God for your health to get better,

I know it may be difficult at this time

But we need to be proactive and try not to wine.

We need to be patience with ourselves 

And that includes our health too, 

Be humble and reach out for help

These are unprecedented times which most of us have felt.

Hear for a good time… not always a ……

​We are here for a good time but not always along time,

And that’s the true, until the Father in heaven calls us to come home

I rather be old and funny, than miserable and having a moan. 

We try our best, don’t we… ?

And if it didn’t work out, then we have to try again and again, 

You may have good or bad parents to guide you,

I rather pray to God for guidance, that’s what I prefer to ensue. 

We are here for a certain amount of time

A time to reflect, action and continue onto the next challenge which arises 

I am in God’s team now, so be prepared for plenty of blessings and surprises. 

This life has been hard

But then again, we have to continue on our walk, 

If you cry, then let it out, 

you have nothing to be ashamed of but solutions is what it’s all about. 

Today, I made joke out of something so silly

But fun is what it’s about, this isn’t a mountain, just a little hilly.

My beautiful Yiayia

​My Yiayia

In English translated to Grandmother, or Gran,

The best person I could ever remember

31 years ago God took her away, 

She was my friend, the one still to this day I wanted to stay. 

Now I am seen as a adult, 

A person who listens to others and on their behalf sends across a prayer, 

Yet, when I am hurting, I am contained, go to the gym and show to the world I am alright

But Inside I think of my Yiayia and knew that one day I shall see her face shine through the quiet night.

Her kindness, her giving and her love brought me so much protection

She was my world, my friend and my Nan whom I would do anything for,

People today who are fiery and chaotic

Especially our family, which embraced chaos and noise

Yet her presence showed calmness and a tremendous amount of poise. 

She was my world 

She was my friend, 

I use to medicate her with an injection each morning and night

But If I had to do that again, I would accept the challenges that came from all my might. 

You see, life brings you challenges

That is all part of the plan, 

But when I think of my Yiayia, I know I can take stock and think as child holding her hand.

It was much slower

​Today’s pace is far too fast

The gossip, the nosiness 

The speed of actions, you can’t take a breath, 

Thank God I am seen by the spirit and aim to fear anyone any less.

There was pen and paper 

The length of a timely joke, 

People are too quick now, the speed of their talk is like the sugar fizzing like a full fat coke. 

You were allowed to say certain things 

Now you are regulated and governed by the things you say,

The world has gone to pot.. why conformist? scared of getting sacked today?

You worry what others thought

You shouldn’t give a hoot, 

I am not on this earth to live off my nerves,

And the chain of command which I am pleased I have passed and no longer serve.

An uplift

​I am here to pray

The simplest and most effective part of anyone’s day.

Praying for friends 

Praying too for people I am not too keen being around,

I know I have you Lord inside me, that’s what I found?

Praying for the dark to turn into a beautiful day

I know we need to be loving and strong and keep the devil at bay.

We need calm and we need to be encouraged

Those set of words need due cause and effect 

and despite our efforts this life is loving but not always perfect.

​It takes time this recovery journey, 

There are so many questions, yet remember this, you got to stage because you are truly worthy. 

Take your time

Be patient with you, you and you, 

Patience comes from inside

How do you learn this trait? The honesty from which you confide.

So the mess up took place!

Be patient, listen and let the other person say what they need to say,

This is a journey of selfishness for which at this moment in time you need to stay.

The hurt is unbearable,

Each struggle is all part of your rebuilding, 

Yet yiu are finding your way and refuse to be yielding.

​there is always room for a good old laugh,

Not to take things too seriously,

But those are the types I rarely say anything too,

You pay your bills

Try turning a negative into a positive, from there, there is no holds barred.

There are those ‘voices’

Those Immature remarks, 

Comedic temperaments where people take a conversation and don’t know where it would lead,

That is too enticing, well it’s something to listen to or read. 

I like to laugh all the time

Turn a negative into a positive is an art, 

Think about it, we put ourselves into situations and then ask why,

Isn’t that hilarious? Those are the types I raise a smile and then say ‘goodbye’.

Being laid back

​it helps being laid back,

You don’t need to deal with politics  or those people frightened getting the sack,

Those frantic types who need excitement to cause strain on their backs.

I like to think God is in control,

I say my prayers each morning, as the laid back temperament lightens the heart for the blood to easily flow.

‘Take a chill pill’ they call do call it

Working out your next move in life 

Get off your bum and train hard, those are the things I entice. 

Laid back, tell people f@ck off!

And that isn’t anger, that’s saying the other person is annoying,

I love that feeling of being ‘laid back’ as the peace it gives doesn’t cause pain or harm

I am closer to the heavens now, that be the day I shall reach my calm.
