One day at a time
God is with us all,
And through the good and difficult situations which we all have recalled.
Be at peace with all persons
Stop the gossip and its fickle outcomes,
Remember this is a learning curve where you shall learn the arts of some.
Overcome the angst which you have faced
Don’t worry about your age,
You have done well to get this far, this coming year is now becoming your stage.
Avoid silly questions by saying nothing at all
Remember to speak kindly of others, maturity you can excel from and not stall.
Remember your victories as well as the falls
Welcome the new year with optimism, as this is evidently now your call
