I am who God made me

I believe I can be accepted

Even if others don’t understand my ways,

I am starting to love who I am, as I hope that trait continues to stay.

I may not feel I fit in

Do I need others approval for that?

I am what I am, as I use to question every corner to seek

The world isn’t perfect, but I continue to find where I do aim to peek.

I am God’s child first

I do my best whatever path that shall lead,

If others do not accept my character, then they can go elsewhere to look to feed.

I pray each day and hold my account to the full

I am now starting to accept I am the person that I choose to be 

My heart is looking for balance, from there you and I shall be free.
