Do you recall?

Do you remember we laughed until it wholeheartedly hurt?

Do you remember the tears of joy through a calamity which dispersed.

Do you recall the time I said ‘I love you?’

Did you remember the humour of my rapturous wit?

Or when I was falling over in a raucous fits?

Do you recall when being serious didn’t involve politics or other dramatic events on television?

Or when being light minded was prevalent, unlike the angst when you were 11.

Do you remember being kind didn’t involve sending a text

And that simply being kind to someone refuted anything to vex.
